Mr. Fitzpatrick has been developing simple and relatively cheap tools to monitor and compare reefs across Maui. Using a stand-up paddle board, a GoPro camera and a waterproof GPS, he is creating a database of photo plots of various reefs. Come learn how his simple and fun methods can provide valuable and replicable monitoring data.
